FAQS - SEMI FINALS

How does the Finals Series work?
With the Melbourne Vixens finishing on top of the ladder at the end of the home and away season, they will host the Major Semi-Final against Sunshine Coast Lightning. With GIANTS Netball finishing third on the ladder at the end of the home and away season, they will host the Minor Semi-Final against Magpies Netball.

The winner of the Major Semi-Final will host the Grand Final, with the loser to host the Preliminary Final.

The winner of the Minor Semi-Final will progress to the Preliminary Final, with the loser eliminated.

The winner of the Preliminary Final will progress to the Grand Final, and the loser will be eliminated.

The Grand Final will be played between the winner of the Major Semi-Final and the winner of the Preliminary Final.

Where will our Semi Final be held?
Our Semi Final will take place at 7.00pm on Saturday 3 June at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, when we take on GIANTS Netball. 

Where will the Finals Series be broadcast?
All finals games will be broadcast live and free on 9Gem and can be streamed live on the Netball Live mobile app. Telstra TV will also have on-demand replays of every final available at least four hours after the completion of each match.

When can members purchase tickets?
Both home and away team members had preferential purchase from 9.00am AEST on Monday 29 May, until 12.00pm AEST. Members were permitted to purchase a maximum of one ticket per membership, available by providing your membership barcode at the time of purchase. By entering multiple membership barcodes, a maximum of 10 tickets could be purchased in one transaction.

What if I miss out during the members’ pre-sale?
Tickets went on sale to the General Public via Ticketek at 9.00am AEST on Tuesday 30 May. Tickets are still available and can be here.  

What age qualifies for a child ticket?
2-14 years (inclusive). Patrons under the age of 2 are free (sit on knee).

What qualifies a concession ticket?
Concession tickets are available for holders of Full Time Student, Pensioners and Seniors Cards.

What qualifies a family ticket?
A family ticket is 2 adults + 2 children, or 1 adult + 3 children.
