MAGPIES MATCH-DAY, MERCHANDISE & ACTIVATIONS
One final home game for 2018. One final home game for Collingwood superstar Sharni Layton.
We’re hosting the in-form Giants Netball at Hisense Arena on Sunday afternoon, and we’re calling our Magpie Army, the Sharni Army and all netball fans to get down to cheer on the Pies and farewell one of the great Australian sports people and characters.
As always, there'll be plenty happening before the game, so make sure you get down to the concourse early to enjoy all of what the Magpies have to offer!
There'll be a Holden interactive singalong, a Chemist Warehouse video booth, an IsoWhey GIF machine, a free personalised Sharni Layton hero poster, face painting, hair braiding, temporary tattoos, nail art and much more happening before the game!
Gates open at 1:30pm for a 3pm start, so there's plenty of time to wonder around and enjoy the Magpies' pre-game activations and entertainment!
We'll also have our membership and merchandise services set up at our Magpies' Marquee, so come down and visit our friendly staff who will be there to help you with any questions you may have!
For our fans who are cheering the loudest at Hisense Arena, there’ll be some special prizes on offer, thanks to Samsung. Get decked out in Black and White gear, chant and cheer, and you could be in the running to win some Samsung Gear Fits and headphone sets.
There’s one final opportunity to see Sharni Layton in action in Melbourne before the defender calls time on her decorated netball career at the end of the 2018 SSN season.
We’d love all of our amazing members and supporters to get down to Hisense Arena on Sunday to bid farewell and congratulate Sharni on her incredible netball career.
There’ll be free giveaways at the game, including Sharni Layton hero posters and face masks, and there’ll be an opportunity for you to show your appreciation with a #ThankyouSharni banner for fans to sign before the game.
Furthermore, get involved on social media by using the #ThankyouSharni hashtag, and your message to Sharni will be broadcasted on the big screen for everyone to see at the game at Hisense Arena.
