Having previously played for the Firebirds, Swifts and Fever, Brandley brought a wealth of experience in her first season at the Holden Centre.
The softly spoken stopper is originally from Victoria, despite going through the underage system with NSW. In 2011, Brandley tasted premiership success with the Firebirds, before heading west to pursue further opportunities. The move saw her stamp her mark as one of the competition’s elite defenders and earn a call up to the national side.
In 2013, Brandley made her international debut with the touring England the Australian Diamonds.
In 2017, in her first year with the Magpies, she cemented her spot as one of the top goal defenders in the league. Partnering Sharni Layton in Collingwood's final third, the dynamic duo caused havoc for their attacking opponents, often deflecting and making interceptions at key parts of the game.
After an impressive SSN campaign, Brandley was once again selected in the national team, playing in both the 2017 Constellation Cup and Quad Series. She will travel with the Diamonds as they tour South Africa and England in the 2018 Quad Series, before putting her hand up for selection for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
