Hailing from Geelong, Madi Robinson is a tenacious midcourter with a decorated history in the game, who was voted Magpies captain by her fellow teammates in their inaugural season.
After winning Best New Talent and Best Rookie in 2006, Robinson became a crucial player for the Melbourne Vixens for the 2008 season. The following year, she transferred to the West Coast Fever where her form was strong enough to earn a Diamonds debut in 2010.
However, Robinson produced her best netball after she returned to the Vixens for the 2011 season.
The 28-year-old was named in the All-star team as wing attack for consecutive years in 2013 and 2014.
During the 2016 season, Robinson won the Vixens’ MVP award as well as finishing second in the league for goal assists and fourth for centre pass receives.
Robinson made history in 2014 when she became the first two-time winner of netball's highest individual honour - the Liz Ellis Diamond.
The midcourter will lead the Magpies once again in 2018, after being reappointed as captain.
