Sharni Lambden joined the Magpies as a training partner in 2017, and cemented her name in the Tasmanian Magpies' midcourt during the Australian Netball League season.
The 18-year-old has previously led the 2014 Australian U/15 Team, as well as being a part of the Australian Diamonds Development Squad 2016.
She has also been named in the South Eastern Football and Netball League’s 2016 Netball Team of the Year and has recently graduated from Rowville Sports Academy.
In 2017, the youngster caught the eyes of national coach Lisa Alexander, and was invited to train with the Australian Diamonds during one of their practices at Hisense Arena.
