Samsung Diamonds have had two run away clashes this week, beating Barbados 91-22 and holding Malawi to their lowest ever World Cup score taking the win 74-25, and the Roses had their first tough contest when they faced up against Jamaica, however they took the win 56-48.

April Brandley suffered a minor ear injury on Monday night, and as a result sat the Malawi game out. She's set to step up against New Zealand on Thursday night and resume her top form as seen in the first four games of the tournament.

Geva Mentor was commended for her form against Jamaica where she had two intercepts and four deflections that resulted in a gain.

Kelsey Browne is arguably playing the best netball of her life, and is being commended for her speed and accuracy, Monday's game saw Kelsey produce 21 goal assists, and 13 against Malawi last night.

The Diamonds today have a rest day before taking on New Zealand from 7pm AEST Thursday 18 July, live on Channel 9.
